Minnesota Falconers Association
We are a committed community of men and women who practice the ancient art and sport of falconry. United by our passion for birds of prey, we work together to promote conservation and ethical stewardship for current and future generations of falconers.
Founded in 1973, the Minnesota Falconers Association has supported falconry and raptor conservation for over 50 years. Our members have contributed to national falconry efforts, including the Peregrine Falcon reintroduction and the development of state and federal regulations.
We also support conservation through fundraisers and hands-on volunteer work. Today, MFA members continue to assist the Midwest Peregrine Society and The Raptor Center with funds raised at our annual game dinner and with volunteer hours. We are dedicated to practicing falconry with the highest ethical standards—honoring tradition while fostering opportunities for future generations.
Falconry, defined as the taking of wild quarry in its natural state and habitat by means of a trained raptor.
