MFA meets are open to the public. Members receive meeting details in monthly newsletters, if you are not yet a member but would like to attend a meet, we ask that you please contact MFA for event details so we can estimate meeting attendance. If you are planning to attend a field meet and participate in a group hunt, please review “How should I prepare for group hunts” under the FAQs for further information.

Spend a day with members of the club to learn about this fascinating hunting sport, to see if you are ready to start your own falconry journey. You'll learn about the regulations of the sport, housing and captive care needs of various raptor species commonly flown, as well as training techniques and background information about raptor natural history and behavior.

Ages 14+ (adult required w/ anyone under 18) $30/MFA member; $50/non-member (lunch included) Space is limited!

You can find MFA at the following public events. These events provide a great opportunity to come talk to experienced falconers and ask any questions you may have, get an up close look at falconry birds, and learn more about the sport and how to get involved. We hope to see you there!
